True and hilarious

The thing I was amazed at was the graphics. Even though some of the characters may be simple, it looked like you took extra time to do the character drawings. But in other places, it looked like you just didn't try as much. With Sora from Kingdom Hearts, that looked liked the only characters that was just slapped together. One thing I noticed though was that Solid Snake looked super fat. Just looking at the comparison between his head and his body was weird. I liked how most of the stuff you said was true, but you added comedy to really boost the effect. I didn't laugh much, but watching this flash kept a smile on my face the whole time I was watching it. The sound synching was great, and the ending was very good too. But the bad part about the ending was, that I felt like it ended too soon. I wanted it to be longer, but still the length was perfect. Also, because of the short length, I can watch it over and over again, with out getting bored.

Some improvements that I would suggest are the random switchings. When it had the part making fun of Legendary Frog, it was kind of tedious switching between the guy in the chair and the actual television program. Also, I didn't understand what Goku had to do with the conference with the video game characters. Also, it would be nice to have a plot. I mean, it was easy to understand what was going on and how they somewhat connected with each other. A plot would be nice, but the flash is great as it is.

Overall, a great flash, and I like how you said the truth with a comedic spin. Responses highly appreciated, and it would be nice if you and others took the time to read this.

Funny Music Video

This flash brings back memories from when I first played Yoshi's island for the SNES. It was pretty cool with the switches from the sprite images to the actual drawings. It was pretty cool, and it had a nice 3D appeal to it. Sometimes it looked like the graphics were actually popping out of the screen! I really enjoyed the drawn out graphics rather than the sprites, because it felt more like a cartoon. The sound synching was great, and the music was perfectly selected. It was too short, and I felt like you ended some of the songs quickly. Not too much violence, or interactivity, but I still chuckled a bit when I watched this flash. Overall, great music video, but it would be nice if you made a flash with just hand drawn graphics. Responses highly appreciated.

Thanks for the excellent comment! I love Yoshi's Island too, and I couldn't resist making a music video. I understand about the sprite section. It's what I get for being a bit too lazy \:]

It's Been a While

I haven't seen a new Legendary Frog flash in a while, and I was surprised to see this under judgement. It was a very funny Wow parody, but it was over too soon. Also, some of the jokes didn't have a fast enough delivery, so I could see the joke coming a mile away. But I did enjoy the flash, and I did laugh quite a few times. The graphics were great, and may even be better than the cartoons on television. The style was cool, but the flash ended too abruptly and left me dissapointed. Not too much interactivity, but I did enjoy the info. about your characters at the end. I enjoyed the humor, but it wasn't as funny as your other creations. I do not play WoW as often, but I got some of the references you made, and I think people would like this flash. Just get ready for people that will say it's overrated or something, and that's it's not a good parody. So overall, great flash, but you ended it as I was getting into it. Responses highly appreciated.

Great tutorial

To professionals, it may be common knowledge, but to amateurs, this is an amazing flash. I have tried flash before and know the troubling matters with it, but this flash really helps. If you forget everything you know about flash and watch this, it is an incredible walkhrough. The graphics show rights and wrongs in a flash, and really help get the ideas out there. The style is great, and how you use well drawn out figures and show how the different mechanics can influence the feel of the flash. The background music was very nice to have and did not get repetitive. No violence, not much humor, and the interactivity was mostly page flipping. Overall, a great walkthrough for animators of all ages, and I'm putting this in my favorites to look at when I get flash. Responses highly appreciated.

Thanks for the long lengthy detailed review.

One of the reasons I tried to make the tutorial more enjoyable is because I'm the one that has to look at it 50 times over while working on it, so I might as well make sure I can stomach it myself. The problems with a lot of tutorials I see is that they contain a few graphics, then about a paragraph of text. I have the attention span of a 5 year old, so I need to have visual stimulation or else I will just wander off.

Interesting Style

It was very intriguing to see the same guy who made the Bad Guys series make what looks like a Stopmotion film. It was very cool to see it in a black and white, but with the red tomato guy was still cool. There wasn't that many impressive graphics because you just took pictures, and the characters didn't look like they were moving at all. Just randomly skipping one frame to the next. The storyline was very interesting because many people have been wondering that theory, and you executed it in a humorous fashion. You had violence, but you would only show the aftermath of what happened. For example, when a character fires the gun, you hear a click and see a bullet mark through the grandma's head. I still love this one of a kind humor, and hope any of your series never gets old. So overall, great flash, but there was room for improvement.

I agree, it's a pretty cool style. I like what Bob did with it. And hey, it takes skill to take a good picture. Bob's got a director's eye. Anybody can point and click, but Bob knows how to frame a shot.

And personally, I think it's more interesting to only see the grandbunny after he gets shot. It lets your imagination fill in the gap. Plus, the woodland creatures have trouble filming motion, they mostly just have still cameras. Video cameras are hard to come by in the mountains.

Beautiful

Some of the artist's work in here could match the real anime shows. It was a very long flash, but at the end, it was all worth it. The graphics were great, heck, the best thing about this flash. It looked just like the shows counter parts and each frame was worked to perfection. The style was astounding and, even if the graphics didn't match the show, the artists made it their very own style. The song though, was pretty repetitive, but didn't make the flash worse at all. It was nice to listen to at the beginning, but after that, got a little tedious. The violence was there, and when actually needed, the gory parts were beautiful. Not really a flash that focused on humor. So overall, you guys have done a phenomanal job, and I applaud this marvelous flash.

Great Noir Claymation!

I never thought I would see a noir claymation, but you proved me wrong! The characters and the overall plot was very intriguing, and I didn't even see the ending coming. It would be nice if you added more details about the characters or about the heist. Just when it was getting interesting, you end it. But it was still an interesting flash. The characters looked great, even though it was hard to see them. The lip synching was perfect, but I couldn't tell if there mouths were just moving, or actually synching the words. Not much violence, but I still found the end humorous. So overall, great flash, but you ended it so abruptly. Responses highly appreciated.

Another classic

This is a great flash to watch over and over again to the anime-esque graphics, to the catchy song. The graphics look just like they were taken from a cartoon show, and when they move, it's so smooth for the eyes. The stlye is great, and I like how you actually synch the song to the beat, rather than the words. There's not too much violence, since this is a cartoon most kids would watch. Some parts are funny, but not laugh out loud or cchuckle funny. Just a quick little giggle and then back to watching an awesome music video. Great job and can't wait for Step 3!
