[JTHM - FO]

Opposites do Attract

When I first heard a Reel Big Fish song playing and saw the graphics of JTHM, I was in for a big surprise. The graphics were just like the ones I would see in the comics and the lip synching was perfect. What was even cooler was, how you told the story of JTHM, and still made it like your own. I also liked the font for the subtitles, with backwards letters and all, even the small things count. You picked a great song and mixed it with one hell of an awesome flash. I still watch it over and over.

Cute

A pretty cute submission, but after a while, that's just about it. The graphics are very well done, just wish you did more variety instead of the same bird dancing on the same table. The sound is very enjoyable, and on my part, doesn't get annoying. No violence, no gameplay, but still a funny idea. Overall: Cute animation, but after a while, thats about it.

[Pico's Return]

Hooray for Pico's Comeback!

With all the fun, happy, Pico Day flashes, you make one of the most serious openings. It was pretty cool with the black and white opening, and all the fight scenes were great. I noticed that you showed the aftermath of the punches, instead of sometimes showing the actions (ex. bent elbow into floating robots, fist in chest Bauman instead of slow-mo swing into it, etc.) And also, the grapics wer sometimes mediocre, but that's no reason to pass up on this flash.
Your graphics are still great, and I could tell how effort was put into this. I noticed you used the sounds of old Pico flashes and put them in this in the right places. There was a lot of violence, but not really interactivity and humor. And that cliffhanger, that really has me waiting. i hope you can read this Afro_Ninja and maybe respond.
Overall: Great animation, but that cliffhanger had me wanting more!!!

[MGS: TAS Episode 3]

Crazy and Funny

The humor here is very unique, and is a good MGS parody. The violence is quick and funny, and the graphics are very unique. Its a very funny series you make, but I'm wondering if it will take too long to parody the first game, and if you'll do the sequels. I enjoyed this very much, and look forward to the sequel.

We are going to try and do all 4 games (because by the time we've done MGS3, MGS4 will probably be out) and yeah, judging by how slowly we work, it'll be a few years before its all finished. Oh well.

I have been watching this flash over and over again because I love the graphics and the music was great. You have a superb art style and the animation and lip-synching is very accurate. Excellent job and can't wait to see more.

Good job.

It was graphically alright, but damn those voices were annoying. I know you were supposed to make this really fast, but at least make it understandable. The joke was funny, but at times it seems like you were killing it. The humor was good, but so fast that you just had time for a quick chuckle. Good job, just needed some improvement.

Longer please

Nothing real special, but nice for a chuckle or two. You did not try as hard on graphics, so that may be an area for improvement. Only complaint is it needs to be longer and have more antics.

lol, well said. This was a movement exercise - like a practise. I wasn't going to stress over graphics (even though I should have). The length really is a shame, but I need time to work on other movies. Thanks for the critique.
