Pretty Weird

Those graphics were very well done, but the animation moved too slow. Some parts were just plain creepy and others just didn't make sense. There was little movement in this flash and I got bored pretty quickly. It would be nice if you made things move along faster and it took too long to get to the main point. There was violence, but I don't really feel it was needed. Overall, mediocre flash and it would be nice if you could spice things up a bit.

This flash made me happy happy joy joy

I remember seeing this when it was first on Ren and Stimpy. That song brings back a lot of memories. The flash had great graphics and the synching was right on key. Even though they didn't have mouths, the emotions of the clocks were enough to tell that you did an excellent job with the synching. It's pretty cool how you used a lot of different characters, but the part that annoyed me was how Crust Clock with two different voices (ren and the singer). I love that song and the humor made me laugh a lot. Even now, I am listening to the song as I review this flash. Overall, great graphics and a funny song make it to my favorites list. Great job. Responses highly appreciated.

CrustClock has schizophrenia.

Very Addictive

The song is still repeating in my head and I love it. I love the graphics and the song is catchy as hell. The seizure enduced graphics made the flash really jump out at me and your unique humor kept me watching it over and over again. THe only problem was, at the end there was no replay button, so I had to keep right clicking and pressing play. Those graphics rival against some of the cartoons I see on television. The stlye was awesome and all of the graphics kicked many levels of ass. SOme graphics were anime, others 3d, others cartoonish, together, they made made one lovable flash. Not much interactivity or violence, but this flash is an instant classic. I am putting this into my favorites immediately! Some improvements, needs to be longer and have a replay button. Responses highly appreciated!

Nice little Short

Seems like something that I would see on Nickolodeon, except without the cursing and the ninja calling a bunnycat "beeyatch." The bunnycat sounds like an interesting idea, but I would like to know more background behind it. Also, if possible, a nice intro. would be nice instead of that weird bunnycat song. The graphics were very good, and would challenge some of the stuff I see on tv. Also, the ninja reminded me a lot of the ninja from the video game "I-Ninja." Just wondering if there was a resemblance. The style was nice, but the flash was too short. Not much violence, and this flash was good for a quick chuckle. Overall, good flash, but needs more content.

You can always watch the first episode for a lil backstory/violence, though that's even shorter. XD
I have to say, I'm a shorts making guy.

Pretty Funny

I laughed and thought this was a very funny flash, but you ended it too soon. I did like how you submitted this on 6/6/06, and the graphics were actually good. Some problems I experienced though were that the subtitles didn't catch up with the animation. Also, the graphics could use an overall improvement because I don't think there was that much you could draw in that short flash. This flash is pretty funny, and I am basing it on more of the comedy. The other departments could use improvement, and would like to see a sequel on 7/7/07!

I only drew the stupid arrow here. XD And for the subtitles, sorry about the out of sync. It just annoyed me, so I just left it as it was. And yes, there shall be a sequel on 7/7/07!

Funny Music Video

This flash brings back memories from when I first played Yoshi's island for the SNES. It was pretty cool with the switches from the sprite images to the actual drawings. It was pretty cool, and it had a nice 3D appeal to it. Sometimes it looked like the graphics were actually popping out of the screen! I really enjoyed the drawn out graphics rather than the sprites, because it felt more like a cartoon. The sound synching was great, and the music was perfectly selected. It was too short, and I felt like you ended some of the songs quickly. Not too much violence, or interactivity, but I still chuckled a bit when I watched this flash. Overall, great music video, but it would be nice if you made a flash with just hand drawn graphics. Responses highly appreciated.

Thanks for the excellent comment! I love Yoshi's Island too, and I couldn't resist making a music video. I understand about the sprite section. It's what I get for being a bit too lazy \:]

Great tutorial

To professionals, it may be common knowledge, but to amateurs, this is an amazing flash. I have tried flash before and know the troubling matters with it, but this flash really helps. If you forget everything you know about flash and watch this, it is an incredible walkhrough. The graphics show rights and wrongs in a flash, and really help get the ideas out there. The style is great, and how you use well drawn out figures and show how the different mechanics can influence the feel of the flash. The background music was very nice to have and did not get repetitive. No violence, not much humor, and the interactivity was mostly page flipping. Overall, a great walkthrough for animators of all ages, and I'm putting this in my favorites to look at when I get flash. Responses highly appreciated.

Thanks for the long lengthy detailed review.

One of the reasons I tried to make the tutorial more enjoyable is because I'm the one that has to look at it 50 times over while working on it, so I might as well make sure I can stomach it myself. The problems with a lot of tutorials I see is that they contain a few graphics, then about a paragraph of text. I have the attention span of a 5 year old, so I need to have visual stimulation or else I will just wander off.

Interesting Style

It was very intriguing to see the same guy who made the Bad Guys series make what looks like a Stopmotion film. It was very cool to see it in a black and white, but with the red tomato guy was still cool. There wasn't that many impressive graphics because you just took pictures, and the characters didn't look like they were moving at all. Just randomly skipping one frame to the next. The storyline was very interesting because many people have been wondering that theory, and you executed it in a humorous fashion. You had violence, but you would only show the aftermath of what happened. For example, when a character fires the gun, you hear a click and see a bullet mark through the grandma's head. I still love this one of a kind humor, and hope any of your series never gets old. So overall, great flash, but there was room for improvement.

I agree, it's a pretty cool style. I like what Bob did with it. And hey, it takes skill to take a good picture. Bob's got a director's eye. Anybody can point and click, but Bob knows how to frame a shot.

And personally, I think it's more interesting to only see the grandbunny after he gets shot. It lets your imagination fill in the gap. Plus, the woodland creatures have trouble filming motion, they mostly just have still cameras. Video cameras are hard to come by in the mountains.

That was cool

From the minute I saw a small single dot cause a huge explosion, you dragged me into a joyride. This was a very well done FBF and my favorite part was when the lines kept twirling and may cause an explosion or releasing several little lines. I also liked how you made faces and other objects slowly by doing a little line each time to finally create a face. The sad part was, that you ended it too quickly, and I would have liked more. So overall, a great FBF, but length and maybe more shapes and longer.

Legend responds:

Thanks for the reveiw, I'm glad you liked it. I know, it was a bit too short, but theres only so much you can do with this kind of movie.

Entertaining

The lines and the music in the background make this one great entertaining flash. There was not that much in the graphics department because as you know, it was just lines and blobs. The style was cool, but has been done repeatadly times before, so there's nothing new to the scene. Not much violence or humor, but picked a good song that matched the FBF-esque animation. Overall, it was very entertaining, but I felt like you could do better.

Thanks for the reveiw, I'm glad you liked it. Originally I intended there to be more drawing and stuff, but I realized I suck at art.
